Target pests of thiamethoxam:

It has high activity against pests of the orders Coleoptera, Diptera and Lepidoptera, especially Homoptera, and can effectively control various aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, whiteflies, scarab larvae, Colorado potato beetles, nematodes, ground beetles, leaf-mining moths and other pests, as well as pests that have developed resistance to many types of chemical pesticides. It has no cross-resistance with imidacloprid, acetamiprid or nitenpyram.

It can be used for stem and leaf treatment, seed treatment, and also for soil treatment. Suitable crops include rice crops, sugar beet, rapeseed, potato, cotton, kidney bean, fruit trees, peanut, sunflower, soybean, tobacco and citrus, etc.

How to use thiamethoxam:

1. To control rice planthoppers, use 1.6-3.2 grams of 25% thiamethoxam water-dispersible granules per mu (0.4-0.8 grams of active ingredient), spray at the early peak stage of nymph occurrence, with a spray volume of 30-40 liters per mu, sprayed directly on the leaf surface, and it can be rapidly translocated throughout the whole rice plant.

2. To control apple aphids, use a 5000-10000 times dilution of 25% thiamethoxam or add 10-20 milliliters of 25% thiamethoxam per 100 liters of water (effective concentration 25-50 mg/L), or use 5-10 grams per mu (1.25-2.5 grams of active ingredient) for foliar spraying.

3. To control whiteflies on cucurbits, use a concentration of 2500-5000 times, or use 10-20 grams per mu (2.5-5 grams of active ingredient) for spraying.

4. To control cotton thrips, use 13-26 grams of 25% thiamethoxam per mu (3.25-6.5 grams of active ingredient) for spraying.

5. To control pear psylla, use a 10000 times dilution of 25% thiamethoxam or add 10 milliliters per 100 liters of water (effective concentration 25 mg/L), or use 6 grams per mu of orchard (1.5 grams of active ingredient) for spraying.

6. To control citrus leaf-mining moths, use a 3000-4000 times dilution of 25% thiamethoxam or add 25-33 milliliters per 100 liters of water (effective concentration 62.5-83.3 mg/L), or use 15 grams per mu (3.75 grams of active ingredient) for spraying.
