How to grow the Haworthia succulent
Soil: choose fertile sandy loam. Temperature: keep it around 20-30 degrees, with winter temperatures above 10 degrees and summer temperatures preferably below 30 degrees. Watering: not too much; just keep the potting soil from getting too dry. Fertilizing: apply fertilizer 1-2 times a year. Light: place it in a spot with light, and provide appropriate shade during the high temperatures of summer. Repotting: repotting once a year is best.
Notes on growing Haworthia:
1. Light requirements: for Haworthia grown indoors, try to place it near a southeast-facing door or window so it can receive sunlight, and every half a month or one month, move it outdoors for a period of time. Kept indoors for a long time, even with sufficient sunlight, the leaves will become thinner, and new branches and leaf stalks will be slender.
2. Water requirements: the root system of Haworthia is very sensitive and afraid of waterlogging. If water accumulates in the pot, or if watering and fertilizing are too frequent, the roots rot easily, so watering must be controlled well.
When Haworthia enters its dormant period, water and fertilizer must be controlled well; when watering, try to do it at noon on a sunny day when the temperature is relatively high.
