How to Grow Durian Seeds into a Small Potted Plant? Detailed Planting Method
I. Seed Treatment
After cleaning the durian seeds, soak them in water. Be careful not to peel off the outer skin. As long as the temperature is above 25 degrees, after soaking for one day you will notice cracks on the outer skin, indicating they are about to sprout. It is best to wait until the sprout grows to about 2 cm before planting.
II. Prepare the Pot and Soil
Prepare a flower pot you like and fill it with soil to about 8 parts full. After filling, do not press it down with your hands, otherwise it will cause the soil to become compacted, which is bad for future growth and root development. Then spray an appropriate amount of water to keep the soil moist.
III. Planting in the Pot
Once the above preparations are done, you can proceed with planting. When planting, face the sprout point downward, because that is its root, and arrange them neatly from the inside outward. After planting, cover the surface with a layer of crushed stones and spray water so that the seeds and soil are completely moistened.
IV. Later Care
After planting, place it in a cool place with a relatively high temperature for care. There is no need to water frequently; the soil just needs to be slightly moist. In about half a month, small seedlings will grow.
