Can Rotten Fruit Be Used as Fertilizer? Use It This Way to Be Scientific

Rotten fruit can be used as fertilizer, but it is recommended not to use it directly; it can be processed first. The processing methods are as follows: first, make it into liquid fertilizer; second, make it into compost; third, bury it directly in potting soil and let it ferment naturally. Using rotten fruit as fertilizer is not only safe and environmentally friendly, but also makes good use of waste.

The first method is making liquid fertilizer. Chop raw materials such as fruit peels and vegetable leaves into small pieces, put them into a plastic bucket, then add water, and leave for one month. When using it, dilute it with water and pour it on the flowers. Moreover, unlike rice-washing water, this liquid fertilizer does not smell bad at all.

The second method is composting. Get a large flower pot or foam box, first put in a layer of soil, then put in raw materials such as rotten fruit, and then put another layer of soil on top. After fermenting this way for three months, it becomes very good soil for growing flowers, and the fertility for growing flowers is also very strong.

Find an old empty cooking oil bucket, wash it clean with detergent, and let it dry. First put rice-washing water into it, then cut spoiled fruit into pieces and put them in. You can also cut orange peel, fruit pits, banana peels, and so on into pieces and put them in. Tighten the bottle cap and place it in a sunny spot. After one month, it can be used as flower fertilizer. There are two points to note: first, after a long time, for example one week, open the bottle cap to release gas, otherwise a lot of gas will accumulate, and suddenly opening it after a long time may cause the cap to injure someone; second, liquid fertilizer must be diluted before use, otherwise it will burn the flowers.
