The proportion of ingredients can be specifically matched according to the cultivation quantity. Abalone mushroom cultivation techniques

1. Ingredient mixing

Formula one: 40% cottonseed hulls, 38% mixed wood chips, 20% wheat bran, 1% sugar, 1% calcium carbonate, 65% water content; Formula two: 80% cottonseed hulls, 18% wheat bran, 1% sugar, 1% calcium carbonate, 65% water content.

2. Sterilization

After the culture material is fully mixed evenly, it can be loaded with a bagging machine into low-pressure polyethylene mushroom bags with a folded width of 15-17 cm and a length of 33 cm. After filling to about 3/5, flatten the surface of the material and then tie the opening (or use a ring). Sterilize with 100°C steam for 8-10 hours.

3. Inoculation

Inoculate in an inoculation box or inoculation room. Each bottle of stock culture can inoculate about 40 bags. After inoculation, tie the bag openings well again and move them to the culture room for mycelial growth management.

4. Fruiting

After the mycelium has fully colonized the bags, fruiting management can begin. First open the bag openings, clean the surface of the material, and then spray water to maintain moisture without causing water to accumulate in the bags; increase ventilation and light exposure, and after 8-10 days fruiting begins. After the first flush is completely harvested, rest the mycelium for 2-3 days before increasing humidity management again, and around two weeks later the second flush of mushrooms can form.

5. Harvesting

When the fruiting body grows until the cap is nearly flat and the cap margin becomes thin and slightly incurved, harvest promptly for market.
