How to Plant Strawberry Seeds

1. Preparation Before Germination

Before sowing, wrap the seeds in gauze and soak them in water for 1 day, then place them in a refrigerator at a low temperature of 0°C to 3°C for about 15 days.

2. Germination Treatment

Pour the seeds into warm water at 50 to 60°C and soak them. After soaking for about 2 to 3 hours, scoop out the seeds and rub them clean, then wrap them in gauze, soak them in warm water, and place them in a warm environment to germinate. Be careful to keep them moist, and sow when 60% to 70% of the seeds have sprouted white.

3. Sowing Method

Prepare a flower pot and nutrient soil, soak the soil thoroughly before sowing, and sow after about 1 hour. When sowing, spread the seeds evenly over the soil, then cover with a thin layer of soil, water them, and place them in a warm place for care. Once the seedlings grow 3 to 5 true leaves, they can be transplanted and set in place.
