How to Plant Strawberry Seedlings

1. Planting Time

Generally speaking, strawberry seedlings are suitable for planting from late September to early October in autumn. This is because the climate during this period is relatively suitable, and after planting, the seedlings can grow better. In addition, if you are in a northern region and planting in a greenhouse, the planting time can be moved earlier to August, which can increase the number of harvests and thereby increase the yield.

2. Planting Method

1. Soil selection: If planting in the ground, you should choose a location with relatively loose soil and a certain amount of fertility as the planting site. If planting in a pot, it is recommended to use three parts garden soil, two parts leaf mold and one part fine sand to prepare the soil.

2. Seedling selection: When planting, it is best to choose seedlings that are healthy and disease-free, with lush branches and leaves and a relatively well-developed root system. Such seedlings are of good quality and have a relatively high survival rate.

3. Planting: Dig planting holes in the chosen flower soil, then slowly plant the seedlings into the soil, and fill the holes with the remaining soil so that all the roots are completely buried in the soil.

4. Later management: After planting, keep the temperature between 18-28°C. When you notice the soil has dried out, water it in time. When the light is too strong, shade it in time. In this way, they will be able to gradually grow up.
