How to grow Ruyi flowers? Teaching you the correct cultivation method
To cultivate Ruyi flowers, place them in a sunny spot, provide shade in summer, and keep the room temperature above 0°C in winter. During the growing season, water thoroughly to keep the potting soil moist, but avoid waterlogging. Also fertilize once every 20 days with a nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer.
1. Light: Ruyi flowers like sunlight and also tolerate partial shade, but they should not be exposed to strong direct sunlight, otherwise their growth will suffer. In summer, provide shade or place them under a large tree where there is sufficient scattered light.
2. Temperature: Ruyi flowers like warmth, and the suitable growing temperature is 13°C to 18°C; although they are cold-tolerant, it is best to keep the room temperature above 0°C, which is more favorable for plant growth.
3. Watering: Ruyi flowers like a humid environment. During the growing season, water thoroughly to keep the potting soil moist, but do not let water accumulate, so as to avoid root rot. In summer, water is lost quickly, so water more; in winter, water less, and just keep the potting soil moist.
4. Fertilizing: During the growing season, the demand for nutrients is relatively high. Fertilize once every 20 days with a nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer. Do not apply too much fertilizer, so as to avoid burning the plant. Apart from the growing season, fertilizing once every 2 months at other times is sufficient.
