When do morning glories usually bloom?
Sow morning glories at different times, and the blooming time of morning glories will naturally differ too. At present, morning glories sown in most regions of our country all begin to bloom in April and May.
What season do they bloom in?
Morning glories are annual or perennial twining herbaceous plants, and the whole plant is covered with short hairs. Under normal conditions, morning glories are sown in spring and bloom in summer and autumn, with funnel-shaped flowers. The colors include blue, crimson, and peach pink, and there are also bicolor varieties, with many variations in the edges of the petals as well.
What time of day do they bloom?
The flowering period of morning glories is generally from June to October. They usually bloom at 4-5 o'clock in the morning, and the flowers wither around noon. This is because morning glory flowers are large and thin, and the flowers contain a certain amount of water; when the sun shines on them, the water in the flowers evaporates within a very short time. In a cool place, morning glories wither more slowly, and sometimes the flowers are still open in the afternoon.
