A Detailed Guide to Seafood Tank Aquaculture Techniques and Management Methods
Seafood tank aquaculture techniques mainly consist of four points. The first point is feeding by category, as different types of seafood require targeted feeding. The second point is doing inspection work well, checking whether the system equipment is operating normally, whether aeration is sufficient, and whether water flow is smooth. The third point is doing cleaning work well, promptly removing dead seafood from the aquaculture tank to avoid water quality deterioration. The fourth point is doing observation work well, frequently observing whether the seafood shows any abnormal reactions and whether the water quality condition is good.
How is a seafood tank made?
1. First, determine the shape of the seafood tank.
2. Water supply and drainage: 2 water inlet pipes, supplying water tangentially to the tank wall in the same direction so as to form a whirlpool water flow. Insert a pipe at the central drainage outlet, with grooves cut and holes drilled at the bottom of the pipe to allow drainage.
3. Water level control. Water flows through the drainage outlet to outside the tank, an overflow pipe is connected outside the tank, longitudinal slots are cut in the overflow pipe, and the water level is controlled through the overflow pipe.
4. Cement tank filtration device
(1) Filter tank structure: physical filtration tank, biological filtration tank, pump sump.
(2) Physical filtration tank: upper layer of filter cotton, lower layer of coral sand, total thickness of 50cm or more.
(3) Biological filtration tank: upper layer of 10cm filter cotton, middle layer of biochemical cotton, lower layer of coral sand.
(4) Pump sump: place a water pump and activated carbon.
(5) Filtration rate: 10 tons per sq m of water per hour or more.
The above is the relevant introduction to seafood tank aquaculture techniques, and we hope it is helpful to everyone.
