What are the methods for growing mangosteen in pots?
Clean the collected mangosteen seeds thoroughly, soak them in clean water, changing the water once a day; they will sprout roots in about 2 weeks. Then bury the rooted mangosteen seeds in the prepared potting soil with the sprout point facing up, covering them with about 1 cm of soil. After planting, water thoroughly once and place them in a spot with bright indirect light and good ventilation; new shoots will appear in about 10-15 days. After that, just carry out routine care.
1. Germination: First clean the seeds thoroughly, then place them in a shallow basin and soak them in warm water for about 10 days.
2. Sprouting: Gently place them on the maifan stone in a seedling tray, then wait for them to sprout.
3. Potting: When the seeds sprout two growing points, move them into the growing medium; note that the white part is the root and needs to be placed in the soil, while the red growing point should be left exposed.
4. Care: Keep the soil moist; generally watering once a week or so is enough.
