When used for weed control in corn, cotton, peanut and soybean fields, apply 200-250 ml of 48% emulsifiable concentrate per mu after sowing and before emergence, diluted in about 35 kg of water, and spray evenly over the soil surface. When used for weed control in vegetable fields such as pepper and tomato, before sowing or before transplanting, apply 200 ml of 43% alachlor emulsifiable concentrate per mu, diluted in 40-50 kg of water, and spray evenly over the soil surface.

I. Specific methods for using alachlor:

1. Use on corn, cotton and peanut fields. Generally after sowing and before emergence, apply 200-250 ml of 48% emulsifiable concentrate per mu, diluted in about 35 kg of water, and spray evenly over the soil surface.

2. Use in soybean fields, after sowing and before emergence. Apply 200-300 ml of 48% emulsifiable concentrate per mu, diluted in 35 kg of water, and spray evenly over the soil surface. For controlling soybean dodder, generally before and after soybean emergence, when dodder is twining around soybean stems and leaves, it can control dodder fairly well and is safe for soybean.

3. For weed control in vegetable fields such as tomato, pepper, onion and radish. Before sowing or transplanting, apply 200 ml of 43% alachlor emulsifiable concentrate per mu, diluted in 40-50 kg of water, and spray evenly over the soil surface; after shallow incorporation into the soil with a rake, sow or transplant. If the soil is covered with plastic film after application, the dosage should be appropriately reduced by 1/3-1/2.

II. Scope of application of alachlor:

It is suitable for fields of soybean, corn, peanut, cotton, potato, sugarcane, rapeseed and other crops, to control annual grass weeds and broadleaf weeds such as barnyardgrass, crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, late barnyardgrass, brachiaria, purslane, amaranth, whorled carpetweed, lambsquarters and knotweed. It also has a certain control effect on dodder.

The above is a relevant introduction to the methods for using alachlor. We hope it is helpful to everyone.
