Thiazole carboxamide class succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor. Used on rice, cereal crops and turf, it is effective against pathogenic fungi such as Rhizoctonia spp., Puccinia spp., Tilletia spp., Corticium spp. and Ustilago spp., and has a special effect on diseases caused by basidiomycete fungi, such as damping-off.

Thifluzamide belongs to the thiazole carboxamide class of fungicides and has strong systemic conductivity and long-lasting residual activity. Thifluzamide is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor; because it contains fluorine, it is highly competitive in biochemical processes, and once it binds to the substrate or enzyme it is not easily reversed. Thifluzamide is active against pathogenic fungi such as Rhizoctonia spp., Puccinia spp., Ustilago spp., Tilletia spp., Corticium spp. and Pyrenophora spp., and has a special effect especially on diseases caused by basidiomycete fungi such as sheath blight and damping-off.

Product features of thifluzamide:

1. It has a special effect on sheath blight, with a low dosage of about 20 milliliters of formulation per mu, and flexible application methods and timing;

2. It has good systemic activity, is easily absorbed through the roots or plant surface and translocated within the plant;

3. Treated stems and leaves are healthy and dark green, providing conditions for increased yield;

4. It contains no organic solvents and is very safe for crops; at suitable dosages it can also be used during the booting and flowering stages of rice;

5. It has strong rainfastness; rainfall 1 hour after application does not affect efficacy.

Thifluzamide is used for foliar treatment of rice, cereal crops and turf at a dosage of 125-250 g active ingredient/hm2, and for seed treatment of cereal and non-cereal crops at a dosage of 7-30 g active ingredient/kg seed. The agent shows excellent control efficacy against rice sheath blight at a dosage of 130-140 g active ingredient/hm2, and against cereal crop rust at 125-250 g active ingredient/hm2.
