1. Variety source
It was developed by Wuwei Ganxin Species Co., Ltd. and Shaanxi Seed Industry Group Co., Ltd. through crossbreeding of T483×T746, and was introduced into our region by Ningxia Jinsanyuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.
2. Characteristics and traits
The seedling leaf sheath is purple, the leaves are green, and the leaf margins are green. The plant type is semi-compact, the plant height is 280.5cm, the ear height is 126.5cm, and the whole plant has 19 leaves. The tassel has 5-6 branches, the glumes are green, the anthers are purplish red, and the silks are light purple. The ear is long and cylindrical, with an ear length of 18.6cm, an ear diameter of 5.1cm, and a bald tip of 0.5cm. The number of rows per ear is 17, the number of kernels per row is 36, the grain weight per ear is 209.5g, the 100-kernel weight is 35.8g, and the shelling rate is 87.4%. The cob is red, and the kernels are yellow and dent type. In 2015, tested by the Cereal Quality Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture (Beijing): test weight 793g/L, crude protein 10.54%, crude fat 4.06%, crude starch 75.68%, lysine 0.34%.
3. Product characteristics
The growth period is 137 days, the same period as the control Xianyu 335, and it is a medium-late maturing hybrid variety. In 2015, the Institute of Crop Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences conducted resistance inoculation identification: resistant to southern leaf blight, moderately resistant to northern leaf blight, susceptible to Pythium stalk rot and head smut, and highly susceptible to dwarf mosaic virus.
Suitable areas and yield level: suitable for spring sowing single cropping in areas of the Ningxia Yellow River diversion irrigation area with an effective accumulated temperature of ≥10℃ and 2800℃ or above.
