For corn seed dressing, chemicals such as triadimefon, tebuconazole, carbendazim, carboxin, phoxim, superphosphate, zinc sulfate, and aspirin can be used to control corn smut, boil smut, dry rot, and white seedling disease, and can also control wireworms, mole crickets, and white grubs

For corn seed dressing, chemicals such as triadimefon, tebuconazole, carbendazim, carboxin, phoxim, superphosphate, zinc sulfate, and aspirin can be used to control corn smut, boil smut, dry rot, and white seedling disease, and can also control underground pests such as wireworms, mole crickets, and white grubs. If tung oil is used for seed dressing, it has an obvious drought-resistant effect; if rare earth is used for seed dressing, it can promote germination and root development and enhance stress resistance.

1. Control of corn smut: Dress seeds with 25% triadimefon wettable powder at 0.2% of the dry seed weight; use 30 grams of 2% tebuconazole wet seed dressing agent to dress 10 kg of corn seed; dress seeds with 50% carbendazim wettable powder at 0.5%-0.7% of seed weight; use 500 grams of 20% carboxin, add 2.5 kg of water, dress 25 kg of seed, pile and cover for 4 hours, then dry and sow.

2. Control of corn boil smut: Dress seeds with 15% triadimefon at 0.4% of seed weight.

3. Control of corn dry rot: Soak seeds in a 1000-fold solution of 50% carbendazim wettable powder for 24 hours.

4. Control of corn white seedling disease: Mix 50 grams of zinc sulfate with an appropriate amount of water and dress 10 kg of seed, then dry and sow.

5. Control of underground pests such as wireworms, mole crickets, and white grubs: Dress seeds with 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate in a ratio of chemical, water, and seed of 1:100:1000, mix well, pile and cover for 4-6 hours, then sow.

6. Enhance corn resistance: Pour 500 grams of tung oil into 6 kg of corn seed for seed dressing, which has an obvious drought-resistant effect; mix 4 grams of rare earth with 40 ml of water and 20 drops of rice vinegar to dress 1 kg of seed, spraying while mixing evenly, and sow immediately after dressing, which can promote germination and root development and enhance stress resistance.
