Which herbicide works well on purple nutsedge
For purple nutsedge (Cyperus rotundus), you can use a herbicide for Cyperaceae weeds, such as Juesha. Because purple nutsedge is a Cyperaceae weed, buying a targeted herbicide is the most suitable choice.
1. How to use:
Foliar treatment. Use the two-step dilution method, that is, first dissolve the herbicide in a small amount of water to make a stock solution, then add the stock solution to a sufficient amount of water.
2. Dosage:
For weeds at the 3-5 leaf stage, use 60g per 660 sq m of lawn; for weeds at the 5-7 leaf stage, use 80g per 660 sq m of lawn.
3. Spraying method:
Manual spraying: mix with 20-25 kg of water per 660 sq m; spray carefully and thoroughly, with no overlapping or missed spraying.
Tractor spraying: speed of 6 km/h is required; spray volume 100-130 L/hectare, pressure 3-5 atmospheres.
4. Precautions:
(1) Do not exceed the upper limit of use; high doses can inhibit lawn growth and may even cause herbicide damage.
(2) This product has a good herbicidal effect under high temperature and high humidity conditions. If the lawn is thin and weak, use a reduced amount. Applying the herbicide in drought conditions gives poor results.
(3) Manual spraying should be even, careful and thorough, with no overlapping or missed spraying.
