What is the scope of use of florasulam?

Florasulam can remove various broadleaf weeds in wheat fields, such as flixweed (Descurainia sophia), shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), common chickweed (Stellaria media), wild oat (Avena fatua), wild mustard, cleavers (Galium aparine), water chickweed (Myosoton aquaticum), common vetch (Vicia sativa), Lapsanastrum apogonoides, and hawk's-beard (Youngia japonica), among other hard-to-control weeds. Florasulam can remove various broadleaf weeds in wheat fields, such as flixweed (Descurainia sophia), shepherd's purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), common chickweed (Stellaria media), wild oat (Avena fatua), wild mustard, cleavers (Galium aparine), water chickweed (Myosoton aquaticum), common vetch (Vicia sativa), Lapsanastrum apogonoides, and hawk's-beard (Youngia japonica), among other hard-to-control weeds. This herbicide has relatively stable efficacy at low temperatures, and can even maintain stable efficacy at 2°C, which other herbicides cannot match. The best application time is before winter, generally by foliar spray.

Application timing and methods of florasulam herbicide:

1. 58 g/L florasulam·pyroxsulam SC + 50% isoproturon WP

Application rate: 10 mL + 150 g per mu, diluted in 30-40 L of water per mu, applied as a foliar spray.

Weeds controlled: broadleaf weeds such as shepherd's purse, cleavers, flixweed, and common chickweed; grass weeds such as shortawn foxtail (Alopecurus aequalis) and rigid brome (Bromus sterilis).

Application timing and method: apply before winter, when weeds are at the 2-4 leaf stage.

2. 158 g/L florasulam·pyroxsulam SC (florasulam 25 g/L, pyroxsulam 33 g/L)

Application rate: 10 mL per mu diluted in 30-40 L of water, applied as a foliar spray.

Weeds controlled: broadleaf weeds such as shepherd's purse, flixweed, and common chickweed.

Application timing and method: apply after wheat emerges, when weeds are at the 3-6 leaf stage.

3. 58 g/L florasulam·pyroxsulam SC + 6.9% Puma EC

Application rate: 10 mL + 50 mL per mu diluted in about 30-40 L of water, applied as a foliar spray.

Weeds controlled: broadleaf weeds such as shepherd's purse, cleavers, flixweed, and common chickweed; grass weeds such as shortawn foxtail and wild oat.

Application timing and method: when weeds are at the 3-6 leaf stage, Puma can be applied from the 2-leaf stage of weeds until the appearance of the 2nd node, but application at the mid-tillering stage gives the best effect. The dosage can be determined according to the type of weeds being controlled; for example, when shortawn foxtail is the main target, about 40-50 mL of 6.9% EC per mu can be used, and when wild oat is the main target, about 50-60 mL per mu can be used. If soil moisture is high, the dosage should be appropriately reduced.

The above is an introduction to the scope of use of florasulam. We hope it is helpful to everyone.
