When do rapeseed flowers bloom at Qinghai Lake? Blooming period and the best viewing time

Rapeseed flowers at Qinghai Lake bloom from June to October. The earliest ones open in mid-June, and from early July they gradually enter full bloom, with July-August being the peak blooming period. The best viewing period is July 5 to 25, and by September rapeseed flowers are already very few. After the flowers fade, local residents, in order to earn some more money, plant new rapeseed flowers again, so that by October rapeseed flowers can still be seen. These should be the last rapeseed flowers at Qinghai Lake, and also the latest rapeseed flowers visible in China.

Qinghai Lake: located within Qinghai Province, at the junction of Gangca County of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gonghe County of Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and Haiyan County of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is China's largest inland lake and saltwater lake, with an area of 4435.69 square kilometers, formed by fault subsidence between the Datong Mountain, Riyue Mountain and Qinghai Nanshan of the Qilian Mountains.
