Among them, Fusong County is the home of Chinese ginseng, with a history of more than 1500 years of wild mountain ginseng digging and more than 450 years of artificial ginseng cultivation techniques.

Fusong County is under the administration of Baishan City, Jilin Province. It borders Antu County and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the east, adjoins Linjiang City and Changbai Korean Autonomous County to the south, connects with Jingyu County and Jiangyuan District to the west, and is adjacent to Huadian City and Dunhua City to the north.

Fusong County is located in the Changbai Mountain area and is an important northern medicine base in the country, with as many as more than 870 kinds of wild Chinese medicinal materials, mainly ginseng. Fusong County is also a core producing area of Changbai Mountain ginseng, and in the ginseng industry it holds three world records: the largest ginseng production and sales volume in the world, the best biological characteristics of ginseng in the world, and the largest Wanliang Changbai Mountain ginseng market in the world within its territory.
