Potassium dihydrogen phosphate is used in agriculture as a high-efficiency phosphorus-potassium compound fertilizer, and is widely applicable to almost all types of crops, including various cash crops, grain crops, melons and fruits, and vegetables. So, what is the spraying concentration of potassium dihydrogen phosphate?

1. Spraying concentration of potassium dihydrogen phosphate

Because different crops have different fertilizer requirements during their growth periods, here we introduce three methods: seed soaking, spraying, and root drenching:

1. Seed soaking

Using potassium dihydrogen phosphate for seed soaking and seed dressing can promote uniform seedling emergence, make seedlings sturdy, and expand the root system. The concentration ratio is 1:500, that is, 100 grams of potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixed with 50 kg of water, and the amount of seed soaked should be just 2 cm below the water surface.

2. Foliar spraying

Foliar spraying is the most common way to use potassium dihydrogen phosphate. It can enlarge fruits and increase sweetness. The common concentrations used are 1:800 and 1:1000, that is, 100 g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate mixed with 80 kg or 100 kg of water, with about 40 kg of water used per mu of land.

3. Root drenching

Using potassium dihydrogen phosphate for root drenching is actually root flushing, which is most commonly applied with macro-element fertilizers. The concentration ratio is 1:1000, using about 100 kg of solution per mu, and 10—20 grams can be poured per planting hole. These can be used for large fruit trees, corn, and other crops

2. Precautions for using potassium dihydrogen phosphate

1. Targeting: It should be applied as a top dressing in combination with crops that need potassium fertilizer, especially many melon and fruit crops. It should not be used without understanding the crop's current growth stage and fertilizer requirements.

2. Spraying time: For foliar spraying of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, it is recommended to do it in the morning and evening to reduce foliar volatilization and improve absorption and utilization.

3. Warehouse storage: Potassium dihydrogen phosphate must be protected from moisture, especially during the rainy summer season. It should be placed in a dry, ventilated, and cool place

Because each crop has different characteristics, when fertilizing, everyone needs to use it in appropriate amounts according to their growth habits.
