Detailed Explanation of Cordyceps militaris Cultivation Techniques and Management Methods
Cordyceps militaris has extremely strong nutritional value and medicinal value. So how is Cordyceps militaris cultivated?
1. Flat-ground cultivation: Scrape off 15cm of topsoil from ordinary flat ground, sloping land, or wasteland, with a width of 1 m and unlimited length, then fill with 5cm of sandy soil, place the fungus-insect bodies in according to the above method, then cover with fine sandy soil 5-7cm, cover the outside with plastic film, have drainage ditches all around, and have forest or a shade shed above for shade.
2. Bed cultivation: Bed cultivation can avoid sunlight and high temperatures, and is both drought-resistant and moisture-retaining, suitable for cultivation in vast rural areas. The bed is 100cm wide, 50cm deep, and of unlimited length, and can also drain all around. During cultivation, first spread 5cm of fine sandy soil in the bed, then place the fungus-insect bodies in according to the above method, then cover again with 5cm of fine sandy soil, use bamboo hoops beside the bed, finally cover with plastic film with both ends ventilated, and then cover with straw mats for shade and cooling.
The cultivation of Cordyceps militaris requires certain techniques, as well as a dedicated laboratory and the creation of a cordyceps environment, so it is not suitable for cultivation in small family workshops.
