Moss cultivation methods and precautions
We cultivate moss mainly to enhance the beauty of the aquatic plant aquascape. So how do you grow moss?
Keeping moss alive is very simple and easy, but achieving a thriving state of moss is not so easy. The best method is still to use strong lighting, plus carbon dioxide, and liquid fertilizer should be added regularly. The suitable temperature for moss growth is 22°C-30°C. If it exceeds 30°C, the leaves will begin to turn yellow and slowly die, so the water temperature control in the tank should be strengthened as much as possible.
In addition, when moss is taken out of one tank and placed into another new tank, the moss will not grow, and the leaves will also turn yellow and black. This is because the water quality in the new tank is different from the water quality in the old tank. At this time, aquarists need to confirm whether the water quality is good. If the water quality test shows it is good, then all that is left is to wait. After about two to three weeks, the moss will grow new shoots.
