How to Grow a Carrot Top? Detailed Planting Methods and Tips

When cooking at home, do you usually just throw away the carrot top? Today I'm sharing how a fellow plant lover grew a potted plant from a carrot top. So how exactly do you grow it? Let's take a look!

1. Cut off the carrot top with a few small leaves, leaving about 2 cm, take a watertight flower pot, add water about 0.5 cm deep, and place the carrot top in it. Remember to change the water every day in summer.

2. Place the potted carrot top in a spot with light; natural light or artificial light will both do. If the weather is warm, new leaves will grow in about 5 days.

Carrot leaves are nutritious. You can chop them finely and sprinkle them over rice, mix them into noodles, or use them to make fried rice. Add a little sesame or cheese to mask the carrot taste and make the dish even more delicious.
