How to Grow Seaweed? A Detailed Guide to Planting Methods and Techniques
Seaweed is algae that grows in the sea, a cryptogam in the plant kingdom. Algae include several different types of organisms that produce energy through photosynthesis, but how do you grow seaweed?
1. How to grow seaweed
1. The ideal container for growing seaweed is a glass bottle. All kinds of glass bottles will do, because you can observe the seaweed's growth clearly through the transparent glass. In the sunlight, the transparent glass bottle makes the green seaweed look especially lovely.
2. First put water in the glass container. It does not need to be much, just a thin layer.
3. Cut open a packet of seaweed and scatter just a thin layer dry over the water surface, one grain next to another; this way it grows very cute and neat and tidy. Do not let them pile up, as piling up is not good for their growth.
4. It is best to place it somewhere with sunlight. Seaweed grows easily and can also grow in a dark sink or drain, but with sunlight the leaves will be a bit greener, which looks better. It can indeed grow in places without sunlight too, but the leaves will be a bit more delicate.
5. Just place it there; there is no need to change the water. When you see there is no water left, just add a little water. The water does not need to be much: except when it is still seeds and needs to be covered by water, once the leaves grow do not keep them soaking, just keep water at the roots.
