Because of its heat-loving habit, spring sowing and early summer sowing are most suitable; the best sowing period is from March to July. Sowing a little earlier will let it grow more fully and bear several more rounds of fruit. When sowing, you can skip sprouting and sow directly, burying all the seeds and watering thoroughly; usually use light flooding irrigation to keep the soil moist, then just wait for germination. If you do sprout them, that is, sow the seeds after they have put out white roots, it will improve the uniformity of seedling emergence. Under normal conditions, after sowing, the seedlings will emerge completely within 7 to 14 days.
