How to Grow Grapes? A Detailed Guide to Grape Planting and Care
When it comes to grapes, everyone thinks of them as a fruit with a high market price, easy to grow, and high sales. Precisely because of market demand, quite a few fruit growers have resolutely decided to plant grapes as a path to prosperity. So how do you grow grapes?
1. Temperature
This type of plant rather prefers a warm environment. Once the ambient temperature rises, the speed of its various growth and developmental processes increases noticeably; for example, it will sprout better and faster, and it can also be ensured that during its flowering period it produces fuller flowers for a longer time, and the later fruiting will also be somewhat better. Conversely, low temperatures will cause the flowers to wither and the fruit to drop.
2. Light
Grapes like plenty of sunlight and a hot, dry climate, so they must be given sufficient light and good ventilation. In winter, overwintering temperatures must not fall below -5°C; in the north, they should be buried in the ground or moved indoors to overwinter.
3. Water
During the growing period, grapes need plenty of sunlight and a well-ventilated environment, and the water supply must be adequate. In spring and autumn, water once a day; in summer, water once in the morning and once in the afternoon (the water should be warmed in the sun before use; avoid cold water). During the rainy season, be careful to promptly drain any standing water from the pot.
4. Fertilizing
This step is essential, because this tree is meant to bear fruit, and this process consumes a great deal of nutrients, so it should be given generously.
