How to Plant Lithops (Butt Flower)? Detailed Guide to Planting Methods and Care Tips
Lithops, named for its fleshy leaves that look just like a butt, is a beautiful succulent plant. In everyday life, because lithops is attractive and easy to grow, many people keep it in pots at home. Here is a share on how to plant lithops.
1. Soil
Lithops is a playful name for a type of living stone plant (Lithops spp.), because its shape resembles a butt. It generally needs loose, well-draining, neutral sandy loam soil to prevent root rot.
2. Light
Although succulents love light very much, in summer they still need appropriate shading, so the leaf color will look even better. When the sunlight is relatively soft, you can place it directly in the sun for care.
3. Water
If the weather is relatively dry or the growth rate is relatively fast, you can increase the amount of watering. If the plant is blooming or has wounds, do not spray water.
4. Fertilizing
Generally, fertilizing is mostly done during the growing period and before flowering, about once every 10-15 days.
