What is the correct dosage of hymexazol for soil disinfection?
Generally, 2.5-3 kg of 0.1% hymexazol granules per mu is used to treat seedbed soil, or 96% hymexazol diluted 3000-6000 times (or 30% hymexazol diluted 1000 times) is sprayed finely on the seedbed soil, with 3 grams of solution sprayed per square meter. In addition to soil disinfection, it can also be applied in the following ways:
1. Seed disinfection
It is divided into dry dressing and wet dressing. Use 1 gram of the original drug per kilogram of seeds.
(1) Dry dressing: Mix the pesticide evenly with a small amount of sifted fine soil, then add the seeds and mix well.
(2) Wet dressing: Moisten the seeds with a small amount of water, then add the required amount of pesticide and mix evenly to dress the seeds. You can also dilute the original drug with water to a 2000-fold solution (1 gram of original drug plus 2 kg of water), mix an appropriate amount of the diluted solution evenly with the seeds to be disinfected, then dry them in the shade before sowing.
2. Foliar application
For foliar spraying, dilute 1200—1500 times.
3. Spraying seedlings
When planting seedlings of vegetables, grains, peanuts, tobacco, medicinal herbs and other crops, or during the seedling growth period, spray with 96% hymexazol diluted 3000-6000 times (or 30% hymexazol diluted 1000 times), and spray once more after an interval of 7 days. This can not only prevent the occurrence of diseases such as fusarium wilt, root rot, stem rot, phytophthora blight, verticillium wilt, sheath blight and rice blast, but also promote a well-developed root system and sturdy plants, enhancing resistance to various natural disasters such as low temperatures, frost, drought, waterlogging, pesticide damage and fertilizer damage.
As a chemical pesticide, hymexazol still has a certain degree of harmfulness. Therefore, when using it, wear work clothes and be careful not to let it touch the skin or facial features.
