Indoxacarb is a latest high-efficiency insecticide. By blocking the sodium ion channels in insect nerve cells, it causes the nerve cells to lose function. It has contact and stomach toxicity and can effectively control a variety of pests on crops such as grain, cotton, fruit and vegetables. So, how many days does the residual effectiveness of indoxacarb last?

1. How many days does the residual effectiveness of indoxacarb last?

The residual effectiveness of indoxacarb generally lasts about 12-15 days. It should not be used more than 3 times per crop season to avoid the development of resistance.

2. Scope of application of indoxacarb

1. It is suitable for controlling beet armyworm, diamondback moth, cabbage caterpillar, tobacco cutworm, cabbage moth, cotton bollworm, tobacco budworm, leaf roller moths, codling moth, leafhoppers, inchworms, cotton stem borers and Colorado potato beetle on crops such as cabbage, cauliflower, Chinese kale, tomato, pepper, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant, lettuce, apple, pear, peach, apricot, cotton, potato, grape and tea.

2. Anda has contact and stomach toxicity and is effective against larvae of all instars. The agent enters the insect body through contact and feeding. Within 0-4 hours the insect stops feeding and is then paralyzed. The insect's coordination ability decreases (which can cause larvae to fall off the crop), and it generally dies within 24-60 hours after treatment.

3. Its insecticidal mechanism is unique, and there is no cross-resistance with other insecticides.

4. It has low toxicity to mammals and livestock, and is very safe for non-target organisms such as beneficial insects in the environment. Its residue in crops is low, and crops can be harvested on the 2nd day after application. It is especially suitable for crops harvested multiple times, such as vegetables. It can be used for integrated pest management and resistance management.

3. How to use indoxacarb

1. Control of diamondback moth and cabbage caterpillar: at the 2nd-3rd instar larval stage. Use 4.4-8.8 grams of 30% Anda water-dispersible granules or 8.8-13.3 milliliters of 15% Anda suspension concentrate per mu, diluted with water and sprayed.

2. Control of beet armyworm: at the young larval stage, use 4.4-8.8 grams of 30% Anda water-dispersible granules or 8.8-17.6 milliliters of 15% Anda suspension concentrate per mu, diluted with water and sprayed. Depending on the severity of the pest damage, application can be repeated 2-3 times, with an interval of 5-7 days each time. Application in the early morning or evening gives better results.

3. Control of cotton bollworm: use 6.6-8.8 grams of 30% Anda water-dispersible granules or 8.8-17.6 milliliters of 15% Anda suspension concentrate per mu, diluted with water and sprayed. Depending on the severity of cotton bollworm damage, apply 2-3 times consecutively with an interval of 5-7 days each time.

Before using indoxacarb, please read the product label carefully and use it according to the instructions. Wear protective equipment when applying the pesticide and avoid direct contact with the agent.
