Beta-cypermethrin, also known as valerate cyanoether ester, is an agricultural insecticide mainly used to control Lepidoptera pests occurring on crops, and it is highly toxic. The technical material appears as white to cream-colored crystals and is easily soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones and alcohols. Below we mainly introduce the uses and application methods of cypermethrin.

Beta-cypermethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with relatively high biological activity. It is a high-efficiency isomer of cypermethrin and has contact and stomach poisoning effects. It has a broad insecticidal spectrum and fast knockdown speed, and its insecticidal activity is higher than that of cypermethrin. It is suitable for controlling pests and sanitary pests on many plants such as cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, tea trees and forests.

Application methods of beta-cyfluthrin.

1. Borer pests: such as rice stem borers, rice leaf rollers, cotton bollworms, etc. During the peak hatching period of eggs, before the larvae bore into the crops, use a 1500-2000 times dilution of 2.5 emulsifiable concentrate with water for spray control, spraying the solution evenly onto the parts of the crops damaged by the pests.

2. Fruit tree pests: To control the peach fruit moth, use a 2000-4000 times dilution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate, or add 25-50OmL of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate to each 100ml of water for spraying. To control the gold-banded leaf miner, apply the pesticide during the peak adult emergence period or the peak egg hatching period, using a lOOO-1500 times dilution of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate, or add 50-66.7mL of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate to each 100L of water for spraying.

3. Vegetable pests: To control cabbage caterpillars, control must be carried out before the larvae reach the 3rd instar. Start applying the pesticide when there is an average of 1 insect per cabbage plant, using 26.8-33.2mL of 2.5% emulsifiable concentrate per 667m2, diluted with 20-50 [parts] water for spraying. For aphids, control must be carried out before a major outbreak, spraying the solution evenly onto the bodies of the pests and the parts damaged by them.
