How to plant cilantro roots so they grow fast and well
Cilantro is one of the common seasonings in daily life, great for hot pot, cold dishes, and so on, and its leftover cilantro roots can also be planted. Below is an introduction to exactly how cilantro roots are planted.
How are cilantro roots planted?
1. Preparation
First prepare a container of appropriate size; a flower pot, foam box, discarded bucket or basin will all work. Then go to the vegetable garden and dig up some soil to put in the container.
2. Prepare the cilantro roots
Peel away the stems and leaves from around the cilantro that still has roots with soil attached, leaving only the central heart and roots.
3. Planting
Use a chopstick or a twig to poke a hole in the soil, plant the cilantro into the hole, and firm the soil around the cilantro. Plant all the cilantro in the container, leaving a certain gap between the cilantro plants, about 3 to 5 cm, to provide the space needed for the cilantro to grow.
4. Care
After planting, water the roots of each cilantro plant and straighten any cilantro that is leaning. Then place it in a cool indoor spot for 3 days only; once it has taken root, it can be placed in a sunny spot.
After that, just do the management work such as watering and fertilizing.
