Peace Lily 'Sensation', also known as large-leaf peace lily, is a common indoor foliage and flowering plant, and many people like to keep a few pots at home, so how do you grow Peace Lily 'Sensation'?

1. Soil requirements

Peace Lily 'Sensation' has low soil requirements, as long as it is loose, fertile, and rich in organic matter, so when choosing soil, try to choose sandy loam rich in organic matter. If you mix your own soil, you can use garden soil, sand, leaf mold, sawdust, and an appropriate amount of organic matter, mix them thoroughly and evenly, and then plant.

2. Light requirements

Peace Lily 'Sensation' likes to grow in a semi-shaded environment, but that does not mean it does not need light, so in spring, autumn, and winter you can give it some light as appropriate, especially in winter it can be placed directly on a balcony for growing, and in summer when temperatures are high it can be appropriately shaded.

3. Water requirements

Peace Lily 'Sensation' has low water requirements, generally as long as the potting soil is moist, so in spring, autumn, and winter you can water once every two or three days, and in summer when temperatures are high you can water once every other day. When watering, never let water accumulate, to avoid root rot. In addition, in summer you can sprinkle some water around the potting soil to increase indoor air humidity.

4. Temperature requirements

Peace Lily 'Sensation' likes to grow in a cool environment, with an optimal growing temperature of 18-25 degrees, and a minimum no lower than 5 degrees. So in winter it can be kept appropriately warm, and in summer it can be appropriately placed in a cool spot.

5. Fertilizer requirements

Peace Lily 'Sensation' has low fertilizer requirements, generally applying a compound fertilizer once about every fifteen days is enough, and a slightly acidic fertilizer with relatively low concentration is best. The specific amount can be determined as appropriate according to the plant's growth condition and the soil's fertility.

It is worth noting that when growing Peace Lily 'Sensation' indoors, you must always maintain ventilation, and at the same time adjust the position of the flowerpot every so often, to help the plant grow evenly.
