Using a scorpion shed for constant-temperature scorpion farming makes it necessary to master certain techniques.

Drug-based disease prevention. After severe weather, use a diluted solution of gentamicin and penicillin (1 vial per 50 sq m to 100 sq m) to spray the entire scorpion shed. Spraying twice a day can effectively prevent the occurrence of various scorpion diseases.

Unify the scent. Mash garlic into a paste, add water and spray it. This not only prevents scorpions from fighting and mothers from eating their young, helping improve the scorpions' gregariousness, but also has a disinfecting effect.

Avoid exposure to strong sunlight. Scorpions are afraid of strong light. Every day, pull the shed curtain up little by little so the scorpions have a process of adapting.

Rapid humidification. When heating in winter, high temperature and low humidity easily occur inside the scorpion shed in the second half of the night, which is extremely harmful to scorpion growth and molting. You can spray water directly on the walls and radiator, or stuff sponge soaked with water behind the radiator to ensure normal humidity in the second half of the night.

Scatter the feed. Change the practice of using small plates and small dishes to hold insects for feeding scorpions. Scatter the insects directly into the scorpion pool or scorpion basin so the scorpions can hunt freely, especially making it easy for those that are weak to catch and eat insects. Feed insects in small amounts but frequently; do not put in too many at one time.

Change the birthing period. In the late stage of the mother scorpion's egg-bearing period, if the temperature inside the scorpion shed cannot meet the requirements for giving birth, the ambient temperature can be controlled at around 22°C to temporarily inhibit the mother scorpion from giving birth. When the temperature conditions are met, slowly raise the temperature to above 32°C to let the mother scorpion give birth.
