In spring, as temperatures rise and daylight hours increase, the activity level of blue peafowl flocks increases and their metabolism becomes vigorous. This is the season when blue peafowl lay the most eggs, and also the best season for hatching, brooding, and raising new blue peafowl flocks. At this time, feeding management should be strengthened by increasing the content of protein, vitamins, and trace elements in the diet to meet their egg-laying needs, so as to keep the blue peafowl flock strong and healthy, prolong the egg-laying period, and improve the quality of breeding eggs. For this purpose, the amount of concentrated feed and green feed should be sufficient and their quality improved. To avoid soft-shelled eggs or chondropathy in female blue peafowl, an additional trough can be set up for supplementary feeding of eggshell powder. Drinking water must be sufficient and must not be interrupted. Bedding straw should be changed frequently and droppings cleaned up promptly, and the number of egg collections should be increased to keep breeding eggs clean and avoid damage.

Breeding blue peafowl must receive 14 to 16 hours of light every day. If there is less than 14 hours, the lights should be turned on early before dawn to feed the blue peafowl, and turned off after dawn, to ensure more than 14 hours of light per day.

When temperatures are low in early spring, before releasing the peafowl into the exercise yard in the morning, open the windows first, adjust the room temperature for 30 minutes, and then release the blue peafowl. Do not suddenly release the blue peafowl outdoors, because the flock is prone to catching colds this way.

Spring is also the season for planting trees. Take the time to plant greenery around the blue peafowl farm, especially in the exercise yard, where trees should be planted for shade.
