What are the methods for raising and training a Rottweiler?
The Rottweiler is a very intelligent dog with a very steady temperament. They are very clingy; once they have built a close bond with their owner, they want to stay by their owner's side at all times, and they are absolutely loyal to their owner! But toward strangers, or when faced with an emergency or danger, the Rottweiler's attack power is very strong. So if you have a Rottweiler at home, how do we train a Rottweiler?
How to raise a Rottweiler
1. When a Rottweiler puppy is 1.5 to 2 months old, it should be fed five times a day, with an interval of 4 hours each time. The daily feed standard is 500 grams of fresh milk, 200 grams of lean meat, 3 eggs, 150 grams of rice, 50 grams of vegetables, and 10 grams of salt. To prevent the puppy from developing rickets, during this period an appropriate amount of vitamin D and phosphorus and calcium should be supplemented, such as cod liver oil, calcium tablets, bone meal, etc.
2. When a Rottweiler puppy is 3 to 4 months old, feed it four times a day with an interval of 6 hours. The daily feed standard is 500 grams of fresh milk, 300 grams of lean meat, 2 eggs, 200 grams of rice, 150 grams of vegetables, and 10 grams of salt, while also supplementing an appropriate amount of vitamins and calcium and phosphorus, and adding liver and fish.
3. When a Rottweiler puppy is 5 to 6 months old, feed it three times a day; the proportion of meat in the feed should be increased and the fresh milk reduced. The daily standard is 200 grams of fresh milk, 400 grams of lean meat, 1 egg, 400 grams of rice, 200 grams of vegetables, and 15 grams of salt, and supplement an appropriate amount of vitamins; if conditions permit, you can give the puppy some soft cartilage and crunchy bone from cattle, sheep and pigs to eat.
4. When a Rottweiler puppy is 7 to 8 months old, feed it twice a day. The daily feed standard is 500 grams of lean meat, 1 egg, and 500 grams of rice, supplemented with an appropriate amount of vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, etc.
How to train a Rottweiler
1. You should cultivate the dog's conditioned reflexes, and this should be done in a quiet place with little external interference.
2. You should gradually make the dog's conditioned reflexes more complex, that is, strengthen the dog's ability to constantly adapt to new environments.
3. It is that in a complex environment, whenever a tempting stimulus signal appears, the dog can still execute the command.
4. To enable the dog to smoothly master the skills being taught, the trainer should use certain methods and means, rewarding diligence and punishing laziness, and cultivate the dog's initiative, so that the trained dog truly becomes accomplished.
Reasons why a Rottweiler sheds
1. Seasonal shedding
When the seasons change, in order to better adapt to the new climate, Rottweilers themselves will also make some adjustments as the seasons change, and therefore shedding and coat changes will occur. In summer, they shed their thick hair so the whole summer can be a bit cooler, and when winter comes, they grow new hair to better keep out the cold. When this happens, everyone does not need to worry too much; you just need to brush the dog's coat more, promptly brush away the old shed hair, and in addition, promptly supplement the dog's nutrition to promote the growth of their new hair.
2. Malnutrition
During the growth process of a Rottweiler, they need to take in enough nutrition to meet their growth needs; likewise, their coat also needs nutrition. If the owner, in the process of raising a Rottweiler, fails to provide them with nutritious and comprehensive food, then in this situation the owner should promptly adjust the dog's diet plan, supplement the Rottweiler with more protein, vitamins and minerals, and give the dog an appropriate amount of Wangxiang lecithin phosphorus, which can gradually improve the texture of their coat and thus ease the severe hair loss.
3. Caused by parasites
If the owner does not regularly deworm the Rottweiler, then they are very susceptible to attacks by parasites, thereby contracting skin diseases of varying severity, which then causes the dog to shed hair. Therefore, the owner must promptly deworm the Rottweiler and treat their skin diseases, and also deworm regularly in normal times and do a good job of daily care.
What vegetables can a Rottweiler eat
The vegetables a Rottweiler can eat include cabbage, spinach, carrots, potatoes, nori, kelp (which must not contain salt), or other vegetables that do not need to be cooked; Rottweilers can eat all of them. These vegetables must be chopped and crushed, otherwise it is very difficult or simply impossible for the Rottweiler to absorb them. Moreover, vegetables are best not cooked, as this fully preserves the nutritional content. Ordinary fruit is also very good, and you can give the dog more of it. As for grains, all five grains can be eaten; it is best to give the Rottweiler more coarse grains (corn, oatmeal, millet, etc.), and soybeans, etc. can be eaten every day, but they must be boiled soft, because the fiber content is relatively high.
Above, I have also taught everyone some Rottweiler training methods. Have you all learned them? In fact, once trained, Rottweilers are all very intelligent, and they will very accurately complete their owner's commands. However, people who generally live in community housing usually will not choose to raise a Rottweiler.
