AbstractJianghan chicken chicks need strictly controlled temperature differences for feeding. During the growing period, Jianghan chickens are raised free-range and eat relatively little, so slow-growing chickens need special care to let them keep up with the growth rate of the flock. Forage grass can be planted in the areas where Jianghan chickens move about daily to reduce breeding costs. In normal times, daily management work must be strengthened, and Jianghan chickens must be dewormed regularly.

1. After Jianghan chicken chicks are bought back, they need to be placed in a dedicated brooding room for feeding. Adjust the temperature of the brooding room, control the temperature difference, and improve the survival rate of Jianghan chickens. After starting to eat, Jianghan chicken chicks can be directly fed chick concentrate feed, which can promote their growth very well.

2. The growing period of Jianghan chickens is about 80 days. They are very light in body type, eat relatively little, and grow relatively slowly, so they are suitable for free-range raising on flat ground. The growth rate of the same batch of Jianghan chickens is not the same. Especially after castration, their food intake decreases even more, so the weak and slow-growing ones need to be selected out and carefully fed to speed up their growth. Try as much as possible to make the time to market for the same batch of Jianghan chickens about the same.

3. In the areas where Jianghan chickens move about daily, an appropriate amount of vegetables or forage grass can be planted for them to eat, increasing the diversity of their feed and also reducing breeding costs. During daily feeding, they also need to be fed together with complete formula feed to ensure comprehensive and balanced nutrition.

4. Strengthen daily cleaning and hygiene work, and carry out deworming regularly to avoid parasitic diseases.
