Application Methods of Imazalil in Grape Cultivation
Imazalil is a systemic fungicide that can be applied as a spray and also used to dip fruit to prevent rot, so what is the application of imazalil on grapes?
1. What is the application of imazalil on grapes?
The application of imazalil on grapes is fruit dipping for fresh-keeping. Within a certain concentration range, it can effectively inhibit the physiological metabolism of grapes and slow the loss of sugar and acid in grapes.
2. How is imazalil used?
Imazalil can be applied as a spray and can also be used to dip fruit in the solution to prevent rot. For spraying, use 2 bags per mu, mix with water and spray evenly. For fruit dipping, dilute the product with water to 440-880 times the volume, fully immerse the fruit in the solution for 1-2 minutes, then remove and air-dry, wrap individual fruits, and store at room temperature or in cold storage. The specific methods of use are as follows:
1. For apple and grape anthracnose, at the early stage of disease onset, dilute with water 800-1200 times and spray, applying two sprays in succession; the usual pre-harvest interval is 7-20 days.
2. For fungal diseases of other crops, use as a tank-mix partner at 1000-1200 times dilution, which can simultaneously improve efficacy, speed of action, and broaden the fungicidal spectrum.
3. To prevent rot in pears and apples, dip the fruit for 30 seconds on the day of harvest, then remove and air-dry before packing for storage.
4. For citrus blue and green mold, dip the fruit for 1-2 minutes on the day of harvest at 444-888 times dilution, then remove and air-dry before packing for storage.
5. For banana crown rot, dip the fruit for 1 minute, then remove and air-dry before packing for storage.
