If you want crops to grow well, you cannot do without pesticides. In today's crop cultivation, the use of pesticides is a very frequent matter, and different pesticides are used to treat different diseases according to the symptoms. Here we will briefly introduce a pesticide, propiconazole.

1. What kind of pesticide is propiconazole

“Propiconazole” is a special fungicide for cash crops. It can be absorbed by the roots, stems and leaves of plants, and can quickly conduct upward within the plant body. It controls diseases caused by ascomycetes, basidiomycetes and deuteromycetes, and is especially effective against wheat take-all, powdery mildew, rust, root rot, rice bakanae, sheath blight, banana leaf spot and other diseases. It can effectively control diseases caused by most higher fungi, but it is ineffective against oomycete diseases.

Propiconazole is a low-toxicity fungicide. Under experimental conditions, no teratogenic, carcinogenic or mutagenic effects have been observed. The formulation consists of active ingredients, emulsifiers and solvents. It appears as a light yellow liquid, can be mixed with most commonly used pesticides, and has a stable storage period of 3 years. Propiconazole has the characteristics of a broad fungicidal spectrum, high activity, fast fungicidal speed, long duration of effect and strong systemic conduction, and has become a representative variety of new broad-spectrum triazole fungicides in large-tonnage use worldwide.

2. Precautions for propiconazole

Although propiconazole is a low-toxicity fungicide, it is still harmful to the human body, especially to human skin and eyes. It should be stored in a ventilated, dry warehouse, protected from moisture and sunlight, and must not be stored together with food, seeds or feed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and prevent inhalation through the mouth or nose.

The above is some knowledge about propiconazole. When spraying pesticides, you must pay attention to your own safety protection. Today, when pesticides are used frequently, it is best to use pesticides with low toxicity and low residues for agricultural cultivation, otherwise it is easy to cause harm.
