How to Grow Champagne Succulent? Cultivation Methods and Precautions
Champagne succulent is a succulent plant of the genus Echeveria in the Crassulaceae family, a hybrid variety, and like other succulents, it is very easy to keep alive, so how do you grow Champagne succulent?
1. Soil requirements
Baiye Champagne does not have high requirements for soil, but if we want to care for it seriously, we still need to choose soil suitable for Baiye Champagne. Baiye Champagne likes soil that is loose and has good drainage and aeration. We can mix peat soil, garden soil, coal cinder, perlite, etc. ourselves, which is very suitable for the growth of Baiye Champagne. If you find it troublesome, you can also directly buy some succulent plant care soil. In this way, we can use soil to care for Baiye Champagne. And by using suitable soil, our care process will also be smoother and simpler.
2. Choice of flower pot
For the choice of flower pot, we can choose a flower pot with a diameter 3 cm larger than the succulent to care for it, and wait until our Baiye Champagne grows bigger before repotting. The most suitable time for repotting each time is autumn or spring.
3. Light requirements
This is also very important for Baiye Rose. If there is insufficient light for a long time, it will cause problems such as fading of Baiye Champagne, leggy leaves, elongation, and increased spacing. So if we want the Baiye Champagne we care for to be more beautiful and attractive, we must let Baiye Rose receive more sufficient light, so that some bad problems will not appear. In spring and autumn, the outside temperature and sunlight intensity are just right for the growth of our Baiye Champagne, so placing it outdoors in a sunny place at this time is most suitable. In summer, we need to pay more attention, because as the temperature rises and the strong light becomes intense, sunburn will occur if the succulent cannot adapt. In winter, it should be moved indoors for care to prevent Baiye Champagne from frostbite.
4. Water requirements
Many people do not water reasonably when caring for Baiye Champagne, causing our Baiye Champagne to fail to grow well. In fact, watering also requires a rhythm. Baiye Champagne is relatively drought-tolerant. So we do not need to water frequently; we only need to wait until the potting soil is dry and then water once. If watering is too frequent, the moist soil environment will instead cause root rot in Baiye Champagne. In summer, when the temperature is too high, we should control watering. In winter, in addition to paying attention to keeping warm, we should also pay attention to the effect of temperature on water, because zero degrees is the freezing point of water. So when it is close to zero degrees, we should use less water, and after zero degrees, we should stop watering and keep the potting soil dry to prevent Baiye Champagne from frostbite.
