Cordyceps ginseng, also known as cordyceps ginseng and ground silkworm, is a relatively expensive Chinese medicinal herb. After eating it, it can stimulate the appetite, boost vitality, tonify the kidneys and liver, and so on. It is currently being planted in many regions, so what are the cultivation techniques for cordyceps ginseng?

1. Site selection and land preparation

Cordyceps ginseng is suitable for growing in places with sufficient sunlight and loose soil, so when selecting a site, try to choose sandy loam soil with sufficient sunlight for planting. After selecting the site, deep plow the soil and apply sufficient base fertilizer.

2. Sowing and seedling raising

(1) Seed treatment: Put the seeds in the sun to dry for three or four hours, then place them in warm water at about 40 degrees for seed soaking. After the seeds are soaked evenly, remove them and place them in a New High Lipid Film solution to soak. This can help avoid insect damage and increase the seed germination rate.

(2) Sowing time: Generally between October and March of the following year.

(3) Sowing method: Evenly scatter the seeds into small furrows, with each furrow spaced about ten cm apart, then cover with a layer of fine soil and wait for seedlings to emerge.

3. Transplanting

Transplant the cordyceps ginseng after it has sprouted. When transplanting, gently dig out the seedlings, then transplant them into the soil. After transplanting, do one round of watering. When watering, you can choose New High Lipid Film for spraying, as this is more beneficial to its growth.

4. Field management techniques

(1) Weeding: After cordyceps ginseng is planted, weeding work needs to be done well.

(2) Water requirements: Water at appropriate times. If there are consecutive rainy days, pay attention to drainage.

(3) Fertilizer requirements: When fertilizing, pay special attention to applying more fertilizer the last time, as this can help its roots grow better.

(4) Pest and disease control: During the growth period of cordyceps ginseng, pests and diseases such as root rot and cutworms may appear, so preventive measures should be taken in advance. Generally, when disease occurs, a diluted solution of Tree Guard General can be sprayed, which can effectively prevent and control it.
