The yellow peach, also known as the yellow-fleshed peach, when eaten regularly can help relieve constipation and boost immunity, and it can also stimulate appetite, making it worthy of the name health fruit and nourishing peach. Because of its relatively high economic value, more and more people are growing it. Today we introduce the planting techniques for yellow peach trees.

1. Land preparation and fertilization

Yellow peach trees have extremely strong adaptability to the environment, so they can be planted in most regions of our country. Before planting, use machinery to plow the land, then dig the holes, and finally spread in an appropriate amount of farmyard manure and organic compost to fill the holes as base fertilizer.

2. Planting time

Choose late February to late March each spring, or late August to mid-September in autumn. The survival rate of planting in these two time periods can be as high as over 95 percent, which can reduce a lot of unnecessary losses, and yellow peach trees planted during these periods will also grow faster, making them very suitable for yellow peach tree growth.

3. Planting

The planting time is after leaf fall in autumn or before bud break in spring. After properly pruning the root system of the sapling, place the sapling into the dug hole, spread the root system out, keep the root crown 3 to 4 cm from the hole opening, then add soil so that the root system is in close contact with the soil, and finally water thoroughly. If the soil sinks after watering and exposes the root crown, add soil to cover the root crown.

4. Scientific management

According to the growth condition of the yellow peach tree, reasonably apply additional nitrogen fertilizer, potassium fertilizer and some other trace fertilizers. Basically, water and fertilizer are applied together five to six times a year. The most important stage for weeding is the seedling stage, when weeding must be carried out at least five times a year, while for mature fruit trees, weeding three times a year is generally enough.

The yellow peach is very rich in nutrients, containing abundant antioxidants, dietary fiber, iron, calcium and various trace elements. When eaten, the yellow peach is soft with a slight firmness, more sweet than sour, aromatic, with medium moisture, and a sugar content of 14 to 15 degrees at maturity.
