Is oleander a deciduous or evergreen plant?
Oleander is cultivated in all provinces and regions of China, especially in southern China, and is often grown in parks, scenic areas, along roadsides, or around rivers and lakes. So is oleander deciduous or evergreen?
1. Is oleander deciduous or evergreen
Oleander is an evergreen plant, though normally a small number of old leaves will drop. It grows wild in Iran, India and Nepal, and is now widely planted in tropical regions around the world.
2. How long does oleander poisoning take to cause death
This depends on the amount accidentally ingested, so the time varies, and it also varies with the part of the body that comes into contact with it. If the amount accidentally ingested is small, it will not be fatal and will only cause a little skin discomfort; if the amount is too large, it may even cause death on the spot. If any sign of poisoning is noticed, the person must be sent to hospital immediately without any wishful thinking, because its toxicity is strong and the time from onset to death is short, so once it is discovered, prompt treatment is best.

The stem bark fiber of oleander is an excellent blended textile raw material; the seeds contain about 58.5% oil and can be pressed for oil used to make lubricants. The leaves, bark, roots, flowers and seeds all contain a variety of glycosides and are extremely toxic; accidental ingestion by humans or livestock can be fatal.
