How Does Watermelon Spread Its Seeds? An Analysis of Common Dispersal Methods
Watermelon is a fruit often eaten in summer, and its demand is relatively large every year. So do you know how watermelon spreads its seeds? Let's take a look!
1. How watermelon spreads its seeds
Watermelon mainly spreads through two ways: natural dispersal or human dispersal. Human dispersal is achieved through the buying and selling of seeds in the seed trade; natural dispersal relies on animals eating the seeds and then excreting them elsewhere.
