Fertilizer application rates for Shatang mandarin at various stages:

Base fertilizer: 10 kg chicken manure or pigeon manure, or 2.5 kg peanut bran, or 25 kg pig manure, plus 0.35 kg superphosphate, plus 0.25 kg potassium chloride or 0.30 kg potassium sulfate.

Pre-bud fertilizer: 0.25 kg urea, plus 0.25 kg superphosphate, plus 0.20 kg potassium chloride or 0.25 kg potassium sulfate.

Fruit-setting fertilizer: 0.16 kg urea plus 0.20 kg superphosphate, plus 0.15 kg potassium chloride or 0.18 kg potassium sulfate.

Fruit-swelling fertilizer: 0.35 kg urea, plus 0.15 kg superphosphate, plus 0.3 kg potassium chloride or 0.35 kg potassium sulfate.

Note that citrus fruit trees have a moderate tolerance to chlorine, so potassium chloride and potassium sulfate should be applied alternately to avoid excessive chloride ions having a certain effect on the plants.

Shatang mandarin can be given more organic fertilizer such as decomposed pig manure and chicken manure. Before composting organic fertilizers such as chicken manure and pig manure, evenly sprinkle 15% Lorsban granules at 500 g/ton on the surface of the manure before composting, which can effectively kill manure worms and other underground pests.
