Safe Use of Tea Harvesting and Pruning Machines in Tea Cultivation
With the arrival of the tea harvesting season, tea harvesting machines will be widely used. In order to better bring into play their role in agricultural work, safe operation is very important. Operators are urged to follow the operating procedures.
1. Clothing requirements during operation
1) Please wear long-sleeved clothing and trousers, but avoid clothing with loose cuffs at the sleeves or trouser legs.
2) Please wear a hat with a strap and protective glasses.
3) Please wear shoes that do not slip easily.
2. Requirements for operators
1) If a person who has borrowed the machine or does not understand how to operate it needs to use it, please first receive safety operation guidance, and then use it.
2) The following people must not use this machine: people who are drunk, minors, people who are overly fatigued, and people who cannot operate it normally due to drug allergies or other such reasons.
3. Precautions during work
1) Do not let people around you stand too close when starting. When pulling the starter rope, stand on the side away from the blade.
2) Do not approach other people during work; pay special attention to safety on rainy days and when the ground is slippery.
3) If the blade becomes stuck, stop the gasoline engine immediately; do not work while walking backward.
4) Smoking is strictly prohibited while the gasoline engine is running or when refueling with gasoline.
4. Measures to reduce malfunctions
1) Each time fuel is added, it is advisable to add a little lubricating oil to the blade.
2) When using “Ochiai” brand special imported grease, apply once a day. Add grease into the crankcase through the grease nipple (you can buy a small grease gun for adding grease). For domestically produced grease, add once every 3 hours.
