How to manage peach trees in a greenhouse after heating
Temperature: Around 9 a.m., uncover the straw mats to raise the temperature; around 5 p.m., cover the straw mats tightly to keep warm. Do not let the temperature inside the greenhouse rise too quickly. At first, uncover one mat every two mats; after 7 days, uncover two mats every other mat; after another 7 days, all mats can be fully uncovered.
Humidity: The relative humidity inside the greenhouse should be kept at 70-80% from heating until before flowering; 50-60% during the flowering period; and 40-60% from petal fall to the harvest period. If it falls below 40%, spray water to increase humidity.
Watering: Under normal circumstances, water 3-4 times from heating to harvest. The first watering is at bud break; along with watering, apply 200-250 grams of urea per tree. The second is after petal fall; along with watering, apply 150 grams of urea plus 150 grams of diammonium phosphate per tree, or 250 grams of a three-element compound fertilizer. The third is during the fruit enlargement stage; in addition to applying nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers with watering, add 100 grams of potassium sulfate per tree. The fourth is about 15 days before harvest; if watering is needed, the topdressing should mainly be quick-acting potassium.
Foliar feeding: After petal fall, spray quick-acting fertilizers every 15-20 days. In the early stage, spray 0.3% urea; in the later stage, spray 0.3% monopotassium phosphate, or spray the two mixed together, and other foliar fertilizers can also be sprayed.
