Can carnations be kept indoors?
1. Reasons
This plant can be placed in a room, largely because it can absorb harmful gases, such as benzene and phenol, which are harmful to us, as well as substances like ether and hydrogen oxide. These things floating in the air cause considerable harm to people, and the adsorption effect of carnations on them can be said to be ridding us of a nuisance.
2. Precautions
Although it can absorb some harmful gases, this does not mean we can carelessly keep it in our homes. We still need to pay attention to some issues, for example, whether it will bring us any effects.
The number of flowers placed in a bedroom needs to be controlled. If there are too many, it will cause people to have allergies or even infections, so we had best place only about two or three pots of flowers, thus avoiding too many affecting daily life. If the flowers are fragrant, then we had best not put them in the room. Of course, carnations are fragrant, but the fragrance is not strong, so as long as we control the number well, there is no great harm.
In addition, when the flowers of carnations drift with the wind, we need to move them out, otherwise some fungi and spores in the soil will get into the air, which will affect the human body, for example causing some allergic reactions. And if someone in the home is ill at this time, the effects on them will be unpredictable. So if they are ordinary people, then carnations can be grown in the room, but if the grower has poor respiratory function or would be allergic because of it, then by no means place it in the room, because this will affect their health. So everyone must pay attention themselves and not place carnations at will.
