This method can also be used for dressing seeds of vegetable crops.
The pesticides commonly seen on the market for controlling underground pests generally include: imidacloprid, isofenphos-methyl granules, phoxim granules, phoxim emulsifiable concentrate, 3911, phorate, deltamethrin emulsion, trichlorfon, etc., all of which can effectively control underground pests.
2. Treating soil with chemicals
Use 50% phoxim emulsifiable concentrate at 200-250 grams per mu, add 10 times the amount of water and spray it onto 25-30 kg of fine soil, mix well to make poisoned soil, apply it in furrows along the rows, and then shallow hoe immediately.
3. Seed dressing with Hudijing
3% Hudijing granules, a mixed formulation of chlorpyrifos and triazophos, are currently the preferred substitute for highly toxic pesticides such as carbofuran and phorate in the production of pollution-free agricultural products. They can control underground pests in crops such as vegetables, melons and fruits, cotton, hemp, sugarcane, soybeans, and flowers. They are safe for crops, with a duration of effect of up to 1 month. Note that this pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic animals, and drugs should be prevented from flowing into rivers and ponds.
4. Diesel seed dressing
Dressing soybean seeds with diesel prevents underground pests and also protects against drought and waterlogging, with an effect of increasing yield. Using the method of dressing soybean seeds with diesel can effectively improve the insect resistance and waterlogging resistance of soybean seeds under conditions of frequent disasters.
