1. What does a crystal grape vine look like

The appearance of the crystal grape vine is no different from common grape vines; the main difference lies in the colour of the grapes during the fruiting period. This type of grape is plump and bouncy, which is why it is called the crystal grape.

2. Harvesting and Transporting Crystal Grapes

1. The grapes are planted along the slopes, and the vineyard grows out of cracks in the rocks. The mountain roads are rugged, and the local farmers of Sanjia, Lianyuan, used to carry the harvest down from the high mountain by pure manpower, one load at a time on a shoulder pole. The ripening season also falls right in the dog days of summer, with sweat pouring down, making it extremely hard work.

2. With the development of the industry, roads have been built that lead directly to the mountaintop. This makes it easier to transport the fruit, and also makes it convenient for urban office workers to drive there, whether with friends or with their children, to experience the fun of picking grapes by hand under the grape trellises.

3. There is a mountain spring on the hill. Fresh grapes picked from the trellises, after being chilled in the cold spring water, with the spring water clear and crisp and the grapes sweet and soft, give a beauty of feeling beyond words.
