How to remedy phytotoxicity after fosthiazate application
Fosthiazate is an insecticide that can inhibit the synthesis of acetylcholinesterase in root-knot nematodes, thereby achieving the effect of controlling aphids, root-knot nematodes and other pests. If used improperly during spraying, phytotoxicity can occur, so what should be done about fosthiazate phytotoxicity?
1. What should be done about fosthiazate phytotoxicity?
For fosthiazate phytotoxicity, spray clean water to rinse the affected parts, remove the severely affected leaves, and reduce the absorption of the pesticide. If the phytotoxicity is caused by fungicides or insecticides, spray plant growth regulators such as brassinolide at 1500 times, compound sodium nitrophenolate at 6000 times, together with chitosan at 1000 times or seaweed acid at 1000 times, and urea at 300 times.
2. Which crops is fosthiazate suitable for?
1. Fruit vegetables: cucumber, watermelon, muskmelon, bitter gourd, sweet melon, tomato, zucchini, strawberry, kidney bean, cowpea, celery, lettuce, celtuce, etc.
2. Tuber crops: sweet potato, carrot, burdock, yam, etc.
3. Root vegetables: potato.
4. Fruit trees: grape, peach, pear, etc.
5. Flowers and ornamental plants: cyclamen, Chinese rose, etc.
3. How is fosthiazate used?
Usage amount: for plots with mild nematode occurrence, 1—1.5 kg can be used. For severely affected plots, use 2—3 kg.
Method of use: broadcasting plus hole application is recommended. Broadcasting: before planting, use 60% formulation per mu, mix with 40 to 50 kg of fine dry soil, evenly broadcast on the soil surface or bed surface, then turn it into the 15 to 20 cm plow layer. Hole application: mix 40% formulation with 20 kg of fine soil, evenly sprinkle it in the furrow or planting hole, and mix evenly by hand or with a tool.
